21 Films at AFM nominated for the Oscar
The 89th Oscar ceremony is just few days away. The winners will be revealed on Sunday 26th February 2017 and if “La La Land” by director Damian Chazelle seems to be one of the favourite with 14 nominations, the Academy can come up with some surprises. Indeed, “Moonlight” by Barry Jenkins or “Manchester by the sea” by Kenneth Lonergan could certainly win some awards.
It’s been a triumphant year for independent films. 21 Academy Award nominations went to 21 films that were financed and/or sold at the American Film Market (AFM). As we say in our previous blog post the cinema industry market is performing well..!
